After five-years of being around open source projects with hundreds of thousands of users, joining the
JasperSoft community, with downloads well over one-million, gave me pause. Especially now, as the team
puts the finishing touches on what will become JasperForge.org 1.0, I stop to think about what our
singular focus on “Business Intelligence for Everyone” truly means for the largest open
source business intelligence community in the world.
For us, “Business Intelligence for Everyone” means providing the right kind of operational
intelligence for the right person at right time. No mamoth systems, just great insight when you need it
and where you expect it.
JasperSoft has demostrated a commitment to “Business Intelligence for Everyone” with the
creation of JasperForge.org; the center of the JasperSoft open source ecosystem.
I’d like to point out just a few of the highlights you’ll find on JasperForge.org:
JasperSoft-Sponsored Projects
JasperSoft sponsors the leading open source business intelligence projects. These projects form the core
of JasperForge.org and the broader JasperSoft community. These projects are open to all JasperForge.org
members to view.
