Hi everyone,

I am having some problems creating a simple report using JasperServer CE, can anyone tell me what i might be wrong.

Setup

JasperServer CE(jasperserver-3.7-windows-installer) i believe this already contain iReport and JasperReport

JasperServer CE data is store in localhost mysql

My personal data used to generate report is on a localhost oracle

Questions

1. I am able to create a report in iReport which connect to my oracle databse as data soucre but how can i upload that ireport file to the JasperServer?

2. With just JasperServer, can i create report(that connect to oracle database) using the website?

3. Even thought iReport does have jasperserver-plugin, i dont see  the Jasperserver option like it is shown in the user guide(see attach image)

In IReport

Window -> JasperServer Repository

this will put JasperServer Repository window on left hand side...
Click (far-left) button with +/plus sign and add your jasperserver instance...

http://your_jasperserver:8080/jasperserver-pro/services/repository (for PROfessional version)

http://your_jasperserver:8080/jasperserver/services/repository (for community)...

You should now be able to browse/upload ireports to jasperserver repository...
