Chart not showing labels & numbers

Hello,

We have a report that works fine in our old server. That report has a chart. You can see "reportOK.png" to see the result of the report.

We are changing from the old server to a new one, and the report doesn't work in the new server. The same chart is missing the labels and the label numbers (see "reportKO").

We tried to add jasper-fonts to our classpath, and it solved a problem that we had since the beggining; the fonts not showing properly, but that solution didn't solve our main problem.

We are using jasper reports 3.7.3.

Anyone can help us?

jasperserver-ws-sample war file missing

Hi,

I am trying to configure my web application to load sample jasperserver reports. I have installed jasperserver-4.5.0-ce on my machine with a new tomcat instance.

In the C:Program Filesjasperreports-server-cp-4.5.0samplesjava-webapp-sample folder, the README file says :

To run the java webapp sample, first locate the sample war

file:

/samples/java-webapp-sample/target/jasperserver-ws-sample.war

copy it to your application server location

(for instance tomcat) /webapps

The issue here is that I am not able to find the war file in the directory. Only source files are available at "C:Program Filesjasperreports-server-cp-4.5.0samplesjava-webapp-samplejasperserver-ws-sample-war". There is no target directory.

I am assuming I might have to build it, but i dont see any instructions on how to do that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

How can I do it -- put the crosstab into the detail band ??? I did it !!!

Chart too big and temporary files

Hello,

I have a problem with a chart that seems too big for my server. I increased the size of the chart putting the Height property=700.

When I executed the report, the server started to create temporary files and it stopped only when it reached the maximum number of files in the folder (returning the error " Disk quota exceeded"). I decresead the Height to 650 and the report works fine.

Do you have any suggestion to fix the problem?

Pass value from SubReport to Main Report and again back to another Sub Report using Shared Variable

I am designing my report using iReport4.5. I am new to Jasper Reports...

1. My main report displays the detailed transaction

2. First Sub Report say "SUMMARY_RPT" displays the summary by category

3. Second Sub Report say "PARAMETER_RPT" displays the input parameter's used

Here is the requirement.

In my second sub report PARAMETER_RPT I have a field that will give me a title value lets say the Field Name is "MY_TITLE" and the value is "THIS IS MY TITLE" as the output of my query.

How do I pass this MY_TITLE from the second sub report to the main report and would like to display the value in my first sub report SUMMARY_RPT

Or is there a way that I can pass the MY_TITLE directly from my Second Sub report to my First Sub Report using Shared Variable...

if so could you please give me a step by step instruction with what and how to do.. Please help...

Hyperlink Type "ReportExecution" with date is in error

Please, i need help!

I have an ireport that does drill down from one to another report, and all work well.

I am using Hyperlink Type "ReportExecution" and two link parameters:
_report = "/reports/samples/report3"
param1 = $F{CODVEND}

But when i add parameters of type date, like:
Date1 = $P{Date1}
Date2 = $P{Date2}

JasperServer UI pages garbled

After finally getting JS 4.5 to build, when deploying, the application starts, but the pages are just overlapping garbage. You can make out various portions of the page, even enough to login, but nothing really displays right. Several overlapping windows, the text is all overlapping, etc. Any ideas appreciated. As noted, the application itself seems to be somewhat working, as it appears to log me in, just can't get a good screen to display.

JasperServer 4.5 returning only 7 records out of 615

I just created a brand new report on iReport (the one that came with JasperReports-Server-cp-4.5.0 ).

It's on the same CentOS 6 machine. It works on iReport and returns 615 records. But the JasperServer is just returning 7 records.

It's just a report with two fields on a band and a title.

I tried including a sort order, it did not work though.

Other old reports that run on another JasperServer 4.2.1 server are also facing challenges ...parameters are really not helping.

Any ideas?

Prevent summary appearing on a new page

Hi everyone,
I have a rather simple report built using JasperReports 3.7.6
There're 2 bands in the report: details and summary. Summary band contains the only element which is subreport, which stands for displaying signatures.
The issue is that under some conditions summary appears on a new page which causes signatures appearing on a new sheet of paper when printed. This happens when the number of rows (details) fits the height of the page. I wish that in a such case the last row will be placed on a new page with a summary, but not only summary on a new page.
Please, provide me with some help.
