Community
The one thing we love more than anything else at Jaspersoft is the ability
of a successful open source project to aggregate people and build a community. Without the contribution of
each single member, we would probably not have iReport, JasperReports, and JasperServer today.
JasperForge.org
is the center of the Jaspersoft community and provides all the tools you need to get more involved in our projects.
Based on your skills and your time, there are many ways you can contribute to the iReport project. Thousands
of people across the globe will benefit from your contributions.
Start with a simple question: "How
would I improve iReport to make it better and easier to use?"
We would love to hear your answer, and in the mean time we can suggest what
you can do to make this happens.

Whether you are a Java developer, a graphic artist, a writer, or just a simple user, there is a way you
can help make iReport better. Read how!
|
Post your questions about using iReport
here.
Skilled users will help you to get started. If you are already an experienced user you can share your knowledge with the other
community members.

The iReport
roadmap is strongly influenced by the community. By logging bugs or feature requests into the system and by voting on existing
trackers, you can help plan our next round of bug fixes or improvements. More about the roadmap
here.

The plug-in development section explains how to download
the latest iReport source code and compile iReport. There, you will find coding guidelines and tutorials to get you started on
iReport development. Not a programmer? You can still help translate iReport
into your language.
