- If you're interested in JasperReports, particularly if this is your first download, we recommend that you may want to consider downloading iReport instead. The iReport download includes JasperReports.
- When you arrive at the SourceForge.net download page, you'll see the Latest File Releases near the top of the screen. We recommend you start by downloading the most current release.
- If you're interested in downloading an earlier release, when you arrive at the SourceForge.net download page, page down and you'll see the complete list of File Releases.
- Select the release you want to download from the File Releases listing.
- On the File Releases page, you'll see a complete listing of of the files available in the release package. Those files typically include:
- jasperreports-<ver>-applet.jar - end-user applet for viewing, navigating, and printing JasperReports
- jasperreports-<ver>.jar - compiled JasperReports library
- jasperreports-<ver>-javaflow.jar - compiled JasperReports library; executes subreports in single thread mode
- jasperreports-<ver>-project.tar.gz - source code, build files, samples, and distributions in tarball package; typically downloaded for Linux
- jasperreports-<ver>-project.zip - source code, build files, samples, and distributions in ZIP package; typically downloaded for Windows
